DRILL TEAM
While no team is particularly easy, Drill Team is considered by many to be the most difficult and challenging of the teams. Drill Team teaches discipline, patience, confidence, and coordination. Drill Team will also open the opportunity to learn Drill and Ceremony that can be potentially vital to a military career.

SABRE TEAM
Sabre Team, much like Drill Team, instills discipline in the cadets. In Sabre Team, cadets learn how to perform unwavering and graceful movements with the sabre. Sabre Team is the epitome of any ceremony, without them any event is incomplete. Sabre team members perform at the homecoming games, senior nights, and graduation.

ROBOTICS TEAM
Robotics Team is the newest of our teams. Cadets who are a part of the robotics team have the opportunity to exercise their problem-solving and engineering skills by building and programming a robot designed to accomplish a certain task. They are then given the opportunity to compete in competitions with their robot.

COLOR GUARDColor Guard is a team where the cadets who are up for the challenge have to learn how to march while carrying flags and rifles. Being on this team instills discipline and coordination since the members have to maintain synchronization while executing the commands given with the other members gracefully.

RAIDER TEAMRaider Team is a team where being athletic is essential to being successful. The Raider Team members will need a strong body since they will be put through many tests including obstacle courses, and do many exercises like push ups and curl ups. Along with a strong body, the cadets will also need a strong mind to push through the many challenges they will face as a team.

RIFLE TEAMEvery cadet is allowed to shoot with the M853 Daisey Air Rifle. Rifle Team members are given the opportunity to shoot outside of class, develop accuracy and skill in several firing positions. Cadets who qualify “Expert” in marksmanship training are selected for the team based on qualification scores, grades, and overall performance in JROTC.

HONOR GUARDHonor Guard is the most prestigious and selective of the teams. Cadets are selected for honor guard based on membership in other teams, performance in JROTC, grades, and dedication to the program. Cadets who are selected for Honor Guard are among the best of the best and are the most committed to the Dragon Battalion. These cadets perform in the Veterans' Day ceremony that the JROTC program has every year. They practice for hours to perform the ceremony perfectly.
