ONE ROPE BRIDGE
The one rope bridge is one of the many hands-on
activities we do in class. Cadets in company leadership
teach other cadets how to tie many knots, harnesses, and
the one rope bridge itself. Cadets then tie their own
and harnesses, tie the bridge, and work together to get across. This is an activity many cadets love and excel in.

MARKSMANSHIP
The type of rifle marksmanship that is taught and practiced in the JROTC program is three-position air rifle shooting that is done with 4.5 mm (.177 cal.) air rifles. The targets are placed 10 meters away. Before cadets step foot in the rifle range, cadets are taught air rifle classifications and safety procedures, afterwards they complete their air rifle safety exam. Those who excel in marksmanship may be given the opportunity to try out and compete on the battalion's Rifle Team.
